Organ Donor Poem by Ted Sheridan

Organ Donor

Rating: 5.0

Every breath he takes consumes as much truth

When asked to 'Swear on your Mother's eyes'
He hesitated a plausible moment of time
and then with what seemed proper respect to the dead
.....gave his notice of acceptability......

Meanwhile....somewhere
An innocent victim of his lie went blind____
