Original Warranty Expired Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Original Warranty Expired

Last night I fell apart
You consulted the schematic but no dice
The individual pieces wouldn't fit together again

Last night I fell apart
Had convulsions on the hard marble living room floor
You put a pencil between my teeth and massaged my temples

It's too late to get your money back
It's too late to make an exchange
All you are left with is anger and disappointment
They were not listed "as included" on the outside of the box

I gave you a teary-eyed refund that was not equal to the value of the original item
You just looked sickened
Tugged on my right ear
And then revealed the final purchase was aggravation
