I cannot fall in love with you
I am silently in love with you;
I have my own love who is my reality
you are just a new dream,
a new fascination.
You want to love me
though you know
you cannot change anything;
love is a parallel feeling
just as you want me to love you
I also want you to love me;
you have touched my heart
just as I have touched yours
but when our hearts
are within those barriers
of loving one another
how can we surrender to each other?
yes, my heart will go on
and so will yours
with yearnings
with silent heartaches
which only you and I will endure;
if only could we be younger again
if only could we be teenagers again
we could then kiss each other recklessly
and never refrain from sharing the passion
which we now have to suppress and conceal.
