Our Superstitious Minds Poem by David Harris

Our Superstitious Minds

We wish upon the first star at night
for our dreams to come true.
We wish upon a crescent moon
to find a love forever true.
We look for a four-leaf clover
for good luck to come our way.
We chase the end of a rainbow
hoping to find the pot of gold there.
We wish on almost anything
our superstitious minds tell us to
hoping each time what we wish for
will finally blossom and come true.
