Our Time Together Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

In the depths of darkness,
when all is silent.
As i drift into that dreamy place.
In mind i see your face before me,
with pleasant smile,
a lost embrace.

And as i walk through fields in slumber,
I search for you in every space,
For here's the only chance to see you.
In life you're gone without a trace.

I hear a voice that's so familiar,
Your presence fills my heart with love.
I take your hand,
we walk together,
Beneath the blue sky up above.

Awakening to a brand new morning,
I realise you'll always be.
Here to share my dreams forever.
Our time together,
You and me.
