Pain = Pleasure? Poem by Ted Sheridan

Pain = Pleasure?

Rating: 5.0

Rough is the way you like it
Tender is not enough
Faster and faster
Harder and harder
Until there are no brakes
That could stop your desire
Your cravings that devour me
And mine
With such an obese sense of need
A need for fulfillment
A need to be complete
Two parts you
One part me
Tender is for later
Rough is without question
What you want and need
Smack a cheek
Whip some tail Kick some ass
Tell me to lie
And speak your will

Because
All I ever wanted
I had
With your obese sense of need

Ok...this one is intriguing! The reader could easily take two or three different directions from this poem. I think my preference is that you coose to no longer be someone's whipping boy, but that there is still a sense of longing and a feeling of loss. Correct me please if I have misread this one...it's actually very deep. Hugs, Dee
