Painted Love Poem by Heather Browning

Painted Love

Rating: 2.7

If I could find the words choking me then I would take your every breath. If I could find the time of day to undo my scarred mistakes, I would paint you a new heart. This time i wont let the tears run through it. If i could find all the pieces i would put them back together, they just might not fit the same. If I could carve the promises I broke in steel, I would carry them with me until each was brought back to life. Ill wear my heart on my sleeve for everyone to see. Ill run through the fire I started and carry you back safely. Ill freeze all your tears and take all your pain. Ill take this chance to make it right. If I could find my imagination I would paint you a new life. If I could find the courage, I would paint myself in the background to watch the masterpiece belong to someone much more worthy.
