Panther's Breath Poem by melissa mundy

Panther's Breath

Rating: 5.0

Panther, Oh Panther
Your eyes flash fire
as you stalk invisible ghosts
in the mist outside your cage.
Your wanton face
reminds us we are animals;
and our hackles rise too,
before we catch the scent
of thunder and lightening.

Well written~ Humans often forget that we too are animals, but it is all so clear once reviewing history.
