Patience - Poem by Karnail Singh Heirwale

Now patience is over
I had rather built a hut
Right on the turning
Leadingto your home
As against the marbled peak
Outtopping the lazy sky
The fluttering reed
Would resonate a music
Of the interiorscape
An impelled outcry
Nervy and sick:
'O dear
Why are you lost
In a ready atmosphere
Of your own
Come back home
To revive the lunatic
Gasping for breath'.
