Sick on my journey,
only my dreams will wander
these desolate moors
phantastic imagery and an insight into the nature of our life..
Deeply poignant and powerful short write. Liked the second line.

'' only my dreams will wander '' it's beautiful. - The following haiku was written by another great Master, Masaoka Shiki; it is a so called ''Deathbed Haiku'': sponge gourd has bloomed choked by phlegm a departed soul before dying, with the assistance of Hekigoto, one of his successor who was nursing him and his sister Ritsu, Shiki wrote down three final haiku. This is one of them.
