Patients Poem by Sarah Sisson

Often, there are times that
I needed to be in control.
But that is a fallacy that time
had etched into my brain.
Over the years I have struggled
with that. Some of the things
that I needed to happen right at
that very moment were unavailable.
I captured nothing. I made no new
rules and imposed no real regulations.
So I sit here and think....what do I do
if I want something before it is due?
I must pray for patience.
