Peace Poem by Enikanoselu Seyi

Peace

Rating: 5.0

When water is over-boiled,
It begins to dry up,
Soon the pot becomes burnt,
All in the name of peace.

When a child is starved,
He begins to cry,
Soon he sleeps off,
All in the name of peace.

I am lured to freedom though in war,
I am bent to take though no one gives,
Then I gulp to fill in my war,
While seeking for peace.

Life is tough,
Mind is rough,
Body commands with lease,
While the world is seeking for peace.
