Peace stability all over

My ancestors sang for world
We were presented and told
Great saints and sages
All wrote their experience on golden pages

Lord Asoka won the large kingdom
It was called Magadha* but open the door for wisdom
What purpose it serves if thousands of people are massacred?
What is consolidation land drive when thousand are dead?

He denounced violence
He accepted Buddhism* and sent her daughter to far non violence
She landed with flower branch
Such was earnest drive for spread of peace as such

Many more examples are found
When you go round
Explore the culture and
Witness the people with calm nature

We were tolerant to foreign invaders
We remained slaves under their occupation
We gained freedom through non violence
We garland more delegations with such purpose and presence

Mr. Gandhi was pioneer for freedom
It was his vision and wisdom
That showed world the hidden power
Non violence can usher the world in peace and stability all over
