Peace Has Been Hijacked Poem by Terence George Craddock

Peace Has Been Hijacked

Rating: 5.0

peace songs are important
peace marches are important
freedom peace anti war poems are important
will always be written in a lover of peace heart
anti-war protest issues in defense of truth are important
lovers of sacred peace are important
lovers of sanctuary sacred life are important
people who believe God commanded thy shalt not kill are important

lovers of violence supporters of wars
are more numerous than lovers of peace
fill corridors line halls of power walls
evil will never tolerate love mercy kindness
evil hate toxic believes forgiveness is weakness
evil believes the right to life exists not for exterminated enemies

peace has been hijacked
hippie peace protest marches in the 1960s
hundreds of thousands of Americans
joined nationwide protest marches
against bloodshed war in Southeast Asia
hippie peace protest marches into history faded

peace has been hijacked
terrorists protest march demand
support for rocket attacks knife attacks
demand support for killing women children murders
demand support for rape as a weapon of terror deliberate
demand support claim their hate crimes torture is justified

atheists have an excuse never believed
in thy shalt not steal thy shalt not kill
believers in karma in religion in sacred is all life
believers in save a single life save an entire world
believers in divine justice Judgement Day have no excuse
angels in heaven record sins not to be forgotten hate crimes

Magnificent! This poem has reminded me that some of those marchers, perhaps most, have become not so anti-war now that the trustees of their ideology have managed to form governments. Is there any stable definition of left and right any more? Has there ever been?

No matter how much supporters of darkness, I believe there are those from the silent majority that will rise against evilness. In this time of adversity our little voice through our poems will in one way or another contribute to the attainment of peace. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.

I strongly believe in the wisdom of the first stanza of this powerful and perceptive poem. We must uphold peace in all its forms. We know that in the end Peace will always prevail.
