People Have A Secret Hope Deep Desire For Truth Poem by Terence George Craddock

People Have A Secret Hope Deep Desire For Truth

this is a world where human beings
do not know do not believe in truth
if an individual steps forth to tell the truth
even family friends associates may not;
believe the truth because throughout
their lives these people have been lied
to too often people will believe a stranger
sometimes before they believe someone;

they know why because the stranger
a complete stranger has never lied to them yet
people have a secret hope deep desire;
to hear truth honesty speak a desire seems
to be written deep in the human heart
in human DNA a desire longing to hear truth;
