Perfect Love
Love doesn’t need to last forever,
be perfect, even, or, to matter,
for before it’s time to sever
relationships that tend to shatter
there are moments we can savor,
till we reminisce and relish
moments in each other’s favor,
and our lives were not yet hellish.
