Permanent Goodbyes Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Permanent Goodbyes

Rating: 5.0

Relaxation breath
The prayerful dawn,
Dreams return
To the ether
And leave reality behind.

I toast dusty memories
With a smooth beer at dusk,
I try to discover
My lost child-like charm
And heart of trust.

It is wonderful to come home
And not cry,
But I know,
There will be long departures
And permanent goodbyes.

Permanent goodbyes can take a great deal of time to the sublime Uriah! Or so I have found. Reaching out and grabbing you! Tai
