Personal Resourcefulness Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Personal Resourcefulness

Forget past treacheries and betrayals,
discard decades of cruelty collectibles,
eliminate memories of insincerities,
refuse to feel sorry for yourself
in the face of those who've denied you help.

You must depend on personal resourcefulness,
you have to expect yourself to be your own best friend;
there is no one else to meet at the road to life's end
when your body descends into final restfulness.
