Perseverance 2 Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Perseverance 2

Rating: 5.0

The abundance of rain troubles my ears with signs
Distant, distinct, now visible and touchable
Peace my soul, I say peace and rest

What is penned in indelible ink is secure
Peace my soul, I say again peace

That which is handy will tarry no more
Peace, peace, I say peace.
