Persistence Poem by Somali Mukherjee

Persistence

Rating: 5.0

I burn midnight oil;
All day do I toil;
Yet, don't get success;
Life is full of mess;
Why such injustice?
In spite of practice?
Life is hard and tough;
We cry, people laugh;
I trust to succeed;
Though sometimes I bleed,
I will not give up,
To get Fortune's club.

A concise and inspirational piece written in verse with rhythmic splendour. Well conceived and nicely crafted in persuasive poetic expressions with artistic brilliance. A work of an intricate mind.
