Love not only resides inside the veins
That send blood in a young heart
Faster than an excited light,
But love also dwells peacefully
On the wrinkled skin of pale cheeks
That denies to glow red anymore.
For I can envision love,
When my grandma's aged eyes talk
To the silent photograph of my grandpa
Who had stopped breathing 13 years ago.
