Pictures Of Memories - Poem by Elayca Marie Manliclic

In the darkest part of my room
Someone opened the Photographs of yesterdays,
Visions of past came by
And now I started to cry.

Tears fell from the eyes of love
Through the deepest pool of longing
Reaching the star I knew I would never touch
How I miss him that's my Heart shouting out.

Wish I could give you warmth
But this picture is all I have
Not tonight, Not tomorrow
But at the end of endless sleep.

Murmurs of wind I hear,
Breeze of emptiness I feel
Reminded me that nobody's here
But only myself and the shadow of tears.

Without your strength I am weak,
Without your voice I couldn't speak
Feel so alone when I am not with you
But in my heart it's always you.

As I go through the path of righteousness,
Your face might fade away,
But the Pictures of Memories stays forever,
Wherever I will go.
