Pin The Tail Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Pin The Tail

I blindly searched
Pinning the tail on your heart.
There was something alarming
Yet sensual
About the pin going in,
The curve of your heart
Shapely like your hips.
I blindly stuck the pin
In your heart
For sure the last time I'd
Blindly search
After being spun around &
Around.
Removing the blindfold from
My eyes.
Love but a spin around
Hoping that when you open
Your eyes it's the person
You've always dreamt.
The person closest to your
Dreams, a pin poke away.
Love but a spin around
While blindfolded.
Hoping you pin the tail,
Sometimes love just ain't
Fair
