Grandma did send me out to pick
Some blackberries to make a pie,
Asked that I try to do it quick,
To be baked by dinner was why.
I went into the pasture where
Lots of blackberry bushes grew,
Along with lots of daisies there.
Grandma did love daisies, I knew.
Most of the berries did not go
In the bucket but into me.
Soon I knew it was time to go.
Happy, Grandma would sure not be.
All of the blackberries I ate,
Picked some daisies to ease my fate.
Ha ha lovely cute sweet poem, hopefully grandma forgave kiddy fir no blueberries but she got daisies. Kudos!
