Plans With Intelligences Poem by Thomas Plotz

Plans With Intelligences

Rating: 5.0

We had grand plans
With intelligence

To replace all the bridges, in Gal-
To allow for taller boats to travel and stray
Toward the inland lakes, by raising the them

Letting bigger boats through, to tack and gybe…
Though the town people wouldn't hear of it,

This would have be done for free,
From an anonymous mystique, will-bestowed grant,

With pre-made drop-ins, would have been, done with-in one week…

Though the town people wouldn't hear of it,
Too much possible inconvenient and change
Too much life re-arrange

Letting bigger boats through,
To tack and gybe…Though the town people wouldn't hear of it,

So the town went with the 2nd plan

Turning the tidal harbor into a swimming hole…
Water cold, fairly clean,
Were able to splash, dive, and dream…

Now were keeping cool it's true,
We owe it all, to Dad and you, and too

All the good loving people in this town,
Who voted the FREE - plan down…

Story of 2 plans. I heard it as a song although it could also be called Narrative Poetry. I left out the real town name, but if you live there you will know.

Letting bigger boats through clean fairy water is amazing. Turning the tidal harbor into a swimming hole brings opportunity to swim. This is an amazingly drafted poem is shared here.10
