Please Come And Join Me - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I'm ready for a good rest this morning my darling,
not the whole day by any means just a few hours.
Please come and join me I'm so very tired and
need to feel your arms around me in your pure
Angelic love I so crave and need in my soul to
feel complete being by the only woman I want and I need.
As I lay down now for this rest I ask you to
please join me and give me a kiss.
I need to hold you tight and cuddle while we
dry each others eyes from 10 months of crying,
healing our hearts and giving the warmth and love
that fills us with peace and strength.
A vital need provided by each other.
Hear my plea please come and join me.
So much to share and I want to be in your arms
when I do relive some of the horrors and sorrows
inside of my heart and soul.
Please come and join me in comfort and sleep
before I must relive these things and you have to hear
what I say in every word to be free.
I will listen to you always and hold you so tight,
please come and join me this morning for a few hours rest.
I need to feel your arms around me and your heart
beating in rhythym with mine against me.
Please come and join me filling each other with
warmth, love, and strength so abundant.
I love you my darling please come and join me.
