The twinkling of stars on a warm night,
The cries of geese as they take flight,
I look passionately in hope towards the sky,
As the firefly flutters with blinkering sight.
Life is on the edge, every day,
Hope remains elusive like rains in May,
Flames of patience is melting in my foray,
And then all of a sudden, the sun rises all the way.
May! It is the cruellest month when Sun loses all his mercy and life on earth is at his mercy…
Tough time don't last but tough people do. You proved it right with this poem.
Wow And then all of a sudden, the sun rises all the way.
Sudden twist in last line made this poem very special. I like your style of expression.
