Poet Identity Fraud Poem by Shaun Cronick

Poet Identity Fraud

Rating: 5.0

To use a person's image,
Without their consent.
And a fairytale profile,
Reveals crass malcontent.

He's at once again,
Scruples he does lack.
Changed his skin colour,
From white to black.

A man not happy,
Under his own skin.
No real big surprise,
Of this has been.

And on a unrelated subject to fill the time,
Watch Tropic Thunder with Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr.
Robert is a white Australian pretending to be a black man.

Spot on Shaun...you certainly pull no punches with this one...and rightly so! It's so much easier to just be oneself, rather than hide behind a vast array of guises and when one uses, ' a person's image without their consent' it is surely a serious offence.Anyway, my friend, It's a tenacious attempt to tackle deceit and treachery inspired ten from me!
