Poet of my choice'

He is a poet of my choice
who promises
the bright sun
next day to run for

he has passion
for human relation
he is a simple human
caring for all brethren

what has he to gain?
only then pain
or remain contended
even if offended

he is no poor
but helps nest door
with his neighbour
and harbours no ill-will

whether democracy or dictatorship
he has to keep
his torch burning
and turning the point

what more shall you want?
expect something that he can't!
he is tight-lipped with no voice
but the choice lies with him

he has tongue
that doesn't argue
but views
what can be due?
