Poet's Delight!



The poet dies to survive
in the sea of simple minds,
where he is one high tide,
from drowning in their lies.

But he will not be denied
the right to speak his mind!

Instead of standing in line,
he takes frontward strides,
and without choosing sides,
chooses to live undisguised!
