Poetic Inspiration Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Poetic Inspiration

Rating: 5.0

Poetic thoughts need inspiration
Before they can liquefy and flow.
A spring emerges, initiating creation…
Emotions surface, increasing the tempo.

With each breath inhaled and released
The writer transforms the obscure
Into a perception that is a poetic feast.
Embossing vivid images that will endure.

Very well expressed with a crescendo of emotion and creative activity exploding in that final 'poetic feast' of emotion and accomplishment. Very satisfying. Poets I think need to breathe inspiration constantly or they die away. Inspiration is truly their breathing.
