i wake up with faint heartbeat
i open my window, look east
darkness through forest rest
kisses from breeze touch my lips
i wave to heaven, lightning sears
taking away my fondness, my fears
should i wait for sun shining be
hungry chirping birds up a tree
i will watch clouds morph to an angel
maybe i can, paint my dream as well
i can smell scent of incoming rain
coming to rinse some of my sins
