Political Correctness Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Political Correctness

Finding the right thing to say.
Effectively found,
At that appropriate time to do.
Is much more sincerely accepted.
Than one who awaits,
For political correctness.
Faking their concerns.
After setting a torch,
That enflames to engulf...
The unsuspecting,
Into conflict, division and hatred.
Provoking folks to ignite,
More of their tensions.

Already heated,
By divisive speeches...
Coming from one feeding narcissism.
And an unquenching thirst,
To have an ego fed.
Infested by feasting upon,
Deception, corruption and greed.
