Political Crisis Requiring Western Intervention Poem by Terence George Craddock

Political Crisis Requiring Western Intervention

signs silhouette
blatant brutality
poke western one
within discerning eye;
when political momentum
when news media reviews
highlight agenda spotlight
new government required;

justified intervention net
sudden reprieved policy
condemns indifferent
do nothing status quo;
turning each blind eye
suddenly out of fashion
signs symptomatic
public beheadings;

heat beat crisis brutality
suddenly creates howls
hooting protest reprisials
convenient bleating blames;
normally targets rabid regime
not charismatic cancerous
fanatical leaders extreme
redeeming lapdogs leaping lead;

logic seldom synoptic remarks

Where ends herd group responsibility?
Where does ignition individuality commence?
Where does compliant individuality begin?
Where each ominous psychopathic individual
bids for blood oppressive stranglehold power?
Bids votes violence obliging oppressive power?
Dictators gain platform party support

flippant

flipped elective horned move in.
Putting primed gored clinical end.
To one stage positioned runt piddling
pawn power oppressor or another.
Intervention morally not socially inept.

Intervention orchestrated far from frank
idle spin doctor implied hypocritical threat.
Intervention is oiled murderous monopoly
Monotheism quota Capitalism. Reigns.
Justice. Bleeds ever blindfolded.
