Possess Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

Possess

Money I may not possess, but the heart
To install your world not plummet apart
My small room may not be to your relish
But my soul I will bare, you will cherish
Rather than necklaces, braces and rings
I can bestow you with the joy that wings
No car to take you places you desire
But grit to take you on a move with fire
My work may not be much for me to earn
Still inside me is the zest that does burn
To position you above the world high
For you see, you including me will fly
Better to swim with me broke who so cares
Than with a man rich who won't care but snares
