Prayer Expressed Gratitude Or Power Hijack Agenda

many may met in prayer
in local loyal communities
in mass gathered pilgrimage
impressive awe-inspiring sights
inspiring to mind heart is true belief
inspiring is sacrifice commitment pledged
devotees all gathered with common purpose
to serve selfless with kindness love to better humanity

some less devout may secret harbour priority personal wish list
some less devout may seek praise adoration recognition rewards
some less devout may desire to hijack enlightenment establish wars

enlightenment purifies spiritual God loving hearts
enlightenment purifies spiritual God listening hearts
enlightenment purifies spiritual God living hearts

Great poem. Flows with reality right to the end. And so true. A lot hide behind religion to launch unGodly sin. But wrong is wrong no matter how you pray and the power you wield
