Prayer happens when…..

No guests, no parties, and no work seen
Now let me go to the Divine
But what about prime time for a prime thing
When you are turning more in autumn than in spring
All weathers are fare for prayer
But it seems pain dictates season to bloom flowers
It seems when greater are cares
You turn to prayer
Prayer happens when you feel grateful
Prayer happens when you feel helpless a soul
More the pain, more will be your involvement
In prayer that might bring the desired result
But true prayer can't happen
Without faith and devotion
Devotion is inner flowering
It happens at the subtler level of feelings
Unless you are lit in devotion to the Divine
Your life will be restless and unhappy even
And unanswered may remain your prayers
If the mind is fickle and insincere
In you when arises longing in devotion
Then true prayer by itself happens
Prayer is not just sitting and chanting some words
It is about being in that calm, serene, meditative postures
Prayer is the cry of a soul
When the mind is focused, prayer becomes more powerful
If the mind is preoccupied elsewhere
There does not happen any prayer
Give not time to prayer that is left over
Give prime time to prayer to spur
What you can do, do it
What you can't, pray for it
When obstacle is too much to handle
Deep prayers can work miracle
Some pray for truth
And some for wealth
If possible do pray for love and happiness of all in the world
That without reservation may bequeath God
