Preservative Poem by Rob Lamberton

Preservative

Rating: 5.0

Pan fried potatoes
I like mine with lots of salt
Starch world to palate
Let them savor your crystals
Taste for yourself salt please

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Matthew 5: 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Indeed, more salt makes pan fried potatoes very palatable. However, we must watch our salt intake for health purposes. A wonderful poem. Like the images of the crystals on food.
