strange poetic values
who could put a price on a poem
the importance of a specific poem
to a creator poet poem writer
when writing a poem in creative moments
it has possibilities potential ecstasy moments
no value affixed except taunting lure lines
rapid written stream of consciousness or blocks
finished completed poem might shimmer in value
for a moment even a day or more but what value
is found in writing a road block unfinished poem?
an uncompleted poem may sometimes assume
a frustration value depending upon attained creative
insight intensity complexity or simple radiant beauty
what price an uncompleted poem? perhaps indifference
none no value but some would not if offer was made be
swopped for 10 dollars a hundred dollars a thousand dollars
uncompleted then focus falling when completed to perhaps
indifference value forgotten value none creativity fierce burns
with surges differing values imposed on an artists time mind
frame focus priorities in desires to produce in artistic needs
art can be personal priceless liked or hated discarded worthless

A very perceptive and interesting write. Great thoughts to ponder about.
