Promise Of True Love Poem by stephen morris

Promise Of True Love

Lonely hearts, sinues taught,
love for me in you i sought,
Cold days and empty nights,
were mine to hold alone i thought.

But warmth you craved and none to give,
i felt despair, and empty air
feeling blind with senses frought,
my love for you was always there.

Those days we kept within our hearts, beating blind but true,
wil rise again some day soon, never more to feel blue.
Our love will meet through all thats sent, heaven will behold.
a happiness thats rare for all a rainbows crock of gold

My soul is yours to keep untill the morning sun will shine,
when in my arms again i`ll hold your body warm from mine.
Your smile bright your eyes a-glow a feeling deep inside,
True love is this, i promise you, forever we`ll entwine.
