Prosopagnosia Poem by Gary Hembree

Prosopagnosia

Rating: 2.5

Once woke up knowing your face.
Now it slips away.
Once woke up knowing who I was.
Now it slips away.
Others close to me fade far from view.
Knew you three seconds ago.
Now youre someone new.
Like you were reborn.
I weep as I stand in confusion.
As those around me change.
Once knew your face.
Now Im blind to all.
