Puri Poem by dr swami arupananda

Puri

puri, the city of lord
ecstacy, ocean of waves,
of mankind.
candle of hope for heaven.
the silent sand speaks,
the secret of lord, where,
death fears to come.

puri, begging bowls of beggars,
devotees for salvation,
lovers for union,
sinner for redemption,
dead body for emancipation.
antique boat witness
dragged in the sand,
time after time, to merge,
in the eyes of nilachakra.

puri, speechless thought of mind,
secret chamber of soul, freedom
from the three world
desires of passionate hunger
and mythical mist of life oasis,
and dew dropp of hope.
