' Quadrangular Friendship '
Hope is my best friend
Once it said to me that
'If you celebrate my arrival
I would stay with you
As long as you live'
Truth is my best belief
Once it told me that
'I won't leave you
If you ensure me
Your deeds '
Trust is my best mate
Once it whispered in my ears that
'I won't go anywhere
If you believe
In purity'.
Purity and tenderness of your heart is evidant from these spectacular verses. The simplicity is what is unique in this poem with a mystery of the fourth concerned person which is of course the poetess herself. A nice way to elaborate the friendship with things other than humans that maintain the dignity of a true person....

Hope, truth & trust - those are things & values we shall cherish but getting further and further away from us-because we no longer open up our heart to them. Thanks to you Surayya, I will do my best to embrace them.... :)
