Goodbye to a Queen so much loved by her people
adieu to a queen so much respected and revered;
everyone keeps rushing to wish her a fond farewell,
everyone is wondering whether they will we ever see
a queen like her again;
so much appreciated for all that she endured
so much admired for all that she offered
whether it was love or compassion
whether it was courage or humanity,
she upheld and presented it to her people
her virtues and principles so noble.

And as they grieve for their queen
some with tears in their eyes
some with flower bouquets in their hands,
they represent the gratitude and appreciation
they feel and hold for their queen
who lived with grace her time on this earth
though in royalty and grandeur she dwelt
yet her simplicity and charm she incorporated
in every step of her life and duty
until her very last breath.

When will we see again a queen like her ever again
who was a mother to her children and her people
as all those years she lived
with love and tolerance so immeasurable
that she moved the hearts of the people
with her gentleness and compassion
that in every heart is a sweet memory remains
and also everywhere is pride and esteem
for a Queen like Elizabeth II they will never find again.
