Quiet Days Poem by David Harris

Quiet Days

Rating: 5.0

There are quiet days
and there are quieter days
when no one is around.
You prepare yourself to see a crowd,
but only empty seats do you see.
It’s as if everyone
has deserted little me.
I stand alone without an audience
and begin speaking to invisible ears
because no one is around
which makes for a very quiet day.

Liked this, a quiet day is indeed as mentioned in below comments a blessing and a time to reflect. Good write.
