Quiet Melancholy Poem by Khairul Ahsan

Quiet Melancholy

Rating: 5.0

A time comes at the end of the day
To stand alone and look distant,
Stretching out the sight far away
And look for serenity at that instant;
To say goodbye to the day that draws to a close
As beneath the horizon the yolk like sun goes.

Wow great creative thinking how you compared the sun to a yolk! ! Sundown is a quiet moment to meditate, pray and contemplate as it is the end of a day and can be compared to life lonely moments. Very poetic how your poem conveys the feel. Kudos. Pls pleez do comment/ review my newest poem too titled, " The Hajj pilgrimage "
