R.I.P. Poem by Tom Allport

R.I.P.

Warning warning warning
Don't have a heart attack
In England any day soon
For like Daniel Blake
The current welfare system
And Government officials
Will add more stress
Will totally let you down
You will be left
To beg for help
To queue at the food banks
To lose all your possessions
To lose your faith
Then die with a broken heart
R.I.P. Daniel Blake.
