R-aindrops of the night
O-r sunlight of the day;
L-et the joy fill your heart
D-espite the clear clouds turn gray.
A-ugust first early morn, twilight passes from eyes;
N-ew dawn has just broken, as the sun starts to rise.
R-ainfall of the evening
O-r sunshine in the sky;
S-ee to it that gladness is brought,
A-llowing you to keep from
S-igh.
E-ither dark or brightness
C-an cause pure pleasure;
L-et the former cover the tears,
A-llow the latter to carry the rapture.
R-emembering your birth
I-s setting things aright;
N-othing can stop you now,
A-s you enjoy rain or sun
L-ight.
