Hear my heart, it's crying in the middle of the night;
So cold that i could feel the chill
that's working on my mind.
So empty that i miss the words he tells me everyday,
so lonely that i wish I'm on a working sunny day.

Hear my heart, it's calling out his name
in the midst of the night.
Oh, rain...you made me think how warm it is
to be within his side.
You made me know how whole I am
just to hear the words he say...
You made me see how happy I am
that he ever crossed my way.

Hear my heart, it's sobbing, all the pain it needs to hide.
Oh rain, tell him I miss him...
and I want to be his life.
Tell him that I need him...
that I'm caught up in between.
