Raindrops pitter-patter
against the windowpane,
teardrops run down my cheeks
whenever I am in pain.
The rain may hold a rhythm
when against my window falls;
tears on my cheeks
hold only sadness when they call.

Looking out of the window I can understand the sentiment.Listening to the weather forecast this coming week its going to rain heavier that it has for the last month.Only difference is that the temperature will fall by 4 degrees too.I understand there is pathos within your words but cheer up David and let us all pray for a return of the good old sunshine.. Sid.
Hello David, Beautiful poems. It is well made... I wish only cheerful rainy a rhythm in a shower and only joyful tears on yours cheeks.... 10......... Tsira
Yes the rain hides the tears my friend, that fall without end... Andy 10
